UDK

Today I am writing about Unreal Development Kit, which is one of the better development kits for consoles. I know it's not a game, but it is good enough for me. It's hard to find a free dev kit, but UDK is free. In the kit, you design levels by actually moving objects. Also, the kit includes an animation system, a cut scene creator, and the physics engine is powered by  PhysX. UDK is the dev kit that was used for games such as BiosShock and Batman Arkham Asylum. All in all, the Unreal Development Kit is a good thing to have near all game designers.
